I had the privilege of receiving David’s support within retreat settings over the course of more than seven years. His presence was essential to my ability to enter into early childhood wounding I’d once believed would always be with me. One reason for this is that David embodies a grounded earthiness that provided me with a sense of security, safety, and support. His very presence was reassuring to me, and this was essential to my ability to begin the work. Both before and after my healing sessions, David was there to help me integrate and digest what I’d learned. But even more vital was David’s presence within the sessions themselves. David’s access to higher frequencies of vibratory healing energy is extraordinary. I can’t count the times that, as I processed deep feelings of grief, sadness, despair, and anger, David helped bring me from a place of scattered chaos into one of reverent awe. After years of suffering, and even after years of psychotherapy that both restored and re-traumatized me, the healing I experienced in those retreats allowed me to finally accept what I’ve been through in this life, and to connect with and honour who I truly am. David’s ability to hold space for the healing of others is, in a word, exceptional.
